Doncaster Infrastructure Network (DIN)

Doncaster Infrastructure Network is a new network set up to bring together any Third Sector organisations in Doncaster who deliver infrastructure support to other Third Sector frontline service delivery organisations.
Membership of DIN (which meets every 2 months) is open to any organisation who meets the above criteria.
Purpose
DIN has adopted the South Yorkshire ChangeUp Consortium (SYCC) Strategic Plan as a framework for its activities and will be developing a district Doncaster plan for how infrastructure organisations work and operate services together.

Independent, innovative, flexible, responsive and sustainable voluntary, community and faith organisations are achieving their full potential in meeting the needs and aspirations of all the diverse communities they serve.
Our Mission
To ensure that sustainable, effective and accessible infrastructure support is available to voluntary, community and faith organisations throughout Doncaster and by linking into the South Yorkshire Change Up Consortium throughout South Yorkshire.
The members of DIN will work together to achieve these aims within Doncaster :
Priority Objectives
1. Develop, agree and monitor a district infrastructure plan
2. Engage with LSP and NI 7
3. Develop support services to avoid duplication and clarify referral pathways
4. Set up joint working and partnerships
Priority Actions – 2009
1. Extend membership and engage participation
2. Carry out functional review to map services and length of funding
3. Increase knowledge and understanding of LSP structures and commissioning bodies
